17th.Century Anglo-Dutch School Pen and ink drawing. A study of Fortuna, Goddess of Chance. Circa.1620.  Further portrait study to reverse. Interesting pencil inscription to edges: "A leaf from a Book of studies by Vandyke - the Black ground put in rashly by me. Bought at a sale in Cambridge 1822 MP. On separating the leaf from the card I discovered this - the card was larger & had a light border" 15.5 by 12 cms. Drawn on laid paper edge damages and chamfered corners.
